Vanngo talks about what it is liked to work at the red carpet.
January has been a happening month and totally kick started the year of 2018.
The first and foremost memorable event was was getting invited by Marc Jacobs Beauty to get a close-up with the Marc Jacobs Beauty’s Global Artistry Ambassador, Hung Vanngo.
If you are a big fan of Selana Gomez, you definitely have seen Vanngo’s works and how Vanngo has been working with the A-list celebrities such as Anne Hathaway, Emma Watson, Kristen Stewart and so on.
The Vietnam-born humble make-up artist also shared with us about makeup tips and some of his favourite products from Marc Jacobs Beauty.
We asked about concealing about pimples and zits over the dinner. And Vanngo signed and exclaimed that it is the most problematic things to deal with especially for clients attending on red carpet.
“You can’t hide it. The more you cover them up, they’re going to be obvious under the light.”
He explained that a thicker makeup to cover blemishes would build up the bump and causes shadows on them when the light is casted on the blemishes. Though there are other methods used in the industry such as cortisone injections to flatten the bump, it still wouldn’t savage the appearance just within a few hours before the show as it has to be done a day before. The only way is to conceal the redness of the pimples is to apply as little makeup as possible.
Finally, Vanngo recommended these must have beauty products that you need to get at Marc Jacobs Beauty, they are long lasting and give a remarkable make up results.
