The first french label that comes to most of our minds when looking for lifestyle candles would probably be Diptyque.
And with pleasure, I am glad to share that Diptyque is finally opening a flagship store in our sunny island, Singapore!
Inspired by the french garden decoration concept, Diptyque’s Singapore boutique store interior are made up of forest green and soft golden tones to give off a warm ambience to all its visitors. To complete the pleasant environment, and understanding our selfie needs, they have also furnished a hip instagram corner with taut velvet armchairs to allow us to indulge in our Instagram moments when we are there.
For all Diptyque fans out there, you will be familiar with its extensive aroma products that ranges from home fragrances, scented objects, candles, skin care products, the perfume ritual, the panels composed of the multi-coloured tissue paper that envelops each fragrance purchased… Every Diptyque boutique provides the satisfaction of reminiscing its values that define the brand and the surprises that make it unique.
For the diehard fans, Diptyque’s offering a limited collection edition to mark its honorable 50 years of creation.
They are the Tempo and Fleur de Peau, the latest art works by diptyque. Not only are they completely new and modern, they’re also made in honour to their big sister L’Eau that has an historic birth year of 1968.
Revisiting the patchouli theme, and refining it to reveal its most exquisite beauty – Tempo combines three different extractions, each from a sustainable supply chain managed by Givaudan on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. A persistent vibration, like an ongoing echo of a musical wake. Fleur de Peau explores the smell of skin: the smell of musk. By opting to include a hint of iris, matte and cool, long lasting and deep, like yesteryear’s glove makers used to perfume their leather. Opening with Italian notes of mandarin orange and bergamot, and a dash of pink peppercorns that hover between petals and seeds. Aldehydes. Everything awakens, and fuses.
